Hardcore-Heaviness mit Alternative-Feeling, Stoner-Trips mit Nu-Metal-Grooves – das ist Swamp. Schuld an diesem Sound sind Tobi am Bass, Felix an den Drums und Peter an Gitarre und Vocals. In ihrem Bandraum in München schleifen die drei in Detailarbeit an Jams und Songideen, bis jeder jede Sekunde im Song fühlt – egal ob im Bandraum oder live.

Live entfesseln sie eine Sound-Wand und fesseln gleichzeitig mit bassigen und atmosphärischen Grooves, die den Swamp-Sound unverwechselbar machen. Nach den ersten Gigs daheim in München folgte ein Festival in Kroatien, eine Micro-Tour durch England und ein Gig in Italien. Von da aus sollte es direkt weitergehen: Zurück nach München und dann nach Österreich!

Kurz davor legte leider die Pandemie bei voller Fahrt den Rückwärtsgang ein. Als wäre das nicht genug, wurde gleichzeitig noch ihr Bandraum dem Erdboden gleichgemacht und Andy zog mit seiner Gitarre nach Amsterdam. Aber die verbliebenen Drei ließen sich nicht unterkriegen! Zuhause wurden neue Songs geschrieben und sobald es möglich war, mieteten sie einen neuen Bandraum. Peter hängte sich vorm Mikro seine Gitarre um. Und der Swamp-Sound war wieder da! Dieses Mal mit noch mehr Alternative-Einflüssen, aber immer noch genauso bassig, atmosphärisch und heavy wie eh und je!

Nach fast fünf Jahren Funkstille meldet sich Swamp zurück: Mit neuen Songs. Und mit neuer Energie. Bereit dafür, den Sound von Swamp unter die Leute zu bringen!

Hardcore heaviness with an Alternative feel, Stoner trips with Nu Metal grooves – that is Swamp. Three guys are to blame for this sound: Tobi on bass, Felix on drums and Peter on guitar and vocals. In their band room in Munich, the three of them work in detail on jams and song ideas until all of them can feel every second of the song – whether in the band room or live.

Live, they unleash a wall of sound and at the same time captivate with bassy and atmospheric grooves that make the Swamp sound unmistakable. The first gigs at home in Munich were followed by a festival in Croatia, a micro tour through England and a gig in Italy. Gigs in Munich and then in Austria were already planned!

But then, the pandemic hit the break. As if that wasn’t enough, their band room was razed to the ground, and founding member Andy moved to Amsterdam with his guitar. But the remaining three didn’t let it get them down! They wrote new songs at home and rented a new band room as soon as they could. Peter put on his guitar while still putting all his energy into singing. And the Swamp sound was back! This time with even more Alternative influences, but still just as bassy, atmospheric and heavy as ever!

After almost five years of radio silence, Swamp is back: With new songs. And with new energy. Ready to bring the sound of Swamp to the crowd!
